Mission Statement

To deploy well-prepared and nationally trained volunteers who are fully equipped and capable of serving as an immediate statewide and local resource for public authorities. To assist in the location of lost or missing persons in wilderness, urban, and rural environments. We strive to locate lost and missing persons in the most timely and efficient manner possible.

OUR BACKGROUND

Since 2014, we have worked closely with families, Law Enforcement Agencies, the OSBI, and the State Medical examiners office in the field and in the classroom to help advance the cause of missing persons in our state. Our ground search teams have assisted these agencies with missing persons, suicide recovery, homicide investigations, and SAR training. We have coordinated searches in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Ohio.

Our goals have always been to create faster resolutions for live victim recovery through training and education. Assist our agency partners in providing timely recoveries for families of likely deceased lost/missing loved ones. We strive to maintain professionalism in the field and compassion in our hearts as we meet people during one of the worst moments of their lives.

We couldn't be more proud of our team of amazing volunteers. They have endured freezing cold, blistering heat, and untold hazards out in the field because the universal motto of search and rescue is "so that others may live" and while not every victim is living, the suicide rate among family members of unrecovered missing persons is 15 times the national average so finding these people is an important endeavor!

That's why our team verse is Matthew 18:12:

If a man has one-hundered sheep, will he not leave the 99 on the hill to go in search of the one? We all have different reasons for doing what we do but ultimately we all stand ready, at a moments notice to leave our loved ones behind and go off in search of the one.
